Norcott Court Functions Venue, Berkhamsted, Herts, HP4 1LE

Norcott Court is a manor house full of charm and history in the ancient parish of Northchurch, between Berkhamsted and Tring. It was first recorded as "Northcote" in 1300 when the manor was granted in lieu of a 'third of a knight's fee' to Nicolas de Bosco.  Later an Elizabethan manor was built on the site and lived in by Thomas Drever, physician to his Royal Highness the Duke of York.  The current house was built in 1887 and was home to Lord and Lady Davidson for many years. Sir Winston Churchill dined and stayed in the house during the war. The manor is located close to Ashridge National Park in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the foothills of the Chilterns. Hire of the venue includes a large lawn (ideal for a wedding marquee), gardens and ample parking. We can also make available part of the house including the dining room which leads onto the lawn. There are some lovely local hotels and guest houses offering quality accommodation. We also have a small camping area in the grounds. We offer many options for your perfect country house wedding, birthday, function or corporate event. We can help arrange marquee hire, catering and entertainment with our experienced wedding planner all for that perfect day.
